Bozeman Has Large Variety of Bus Tours for Visitors
The main attraction for Bozeman is the Bozeman Trail, named after John Bozeman. In 1863, Bozeman served as a wagon master and trail guide, but recognized this area as a prime farming area as well as a central supply stop for miners of the gold rush. Rich in history, Bozeman, Montana offers many activities, sites and tours to visitors. One such site is The Emerson Center which is an Arts and Cultural Landmark in the area. In what began as a grade school in 1918, the renovated building now houses the Emerson Center. The center offers community celebrations and houses galleries, artist studios, education programs and other activities for members of Bozeman as well as for visitors. The Beall Park ARt Center offers artwork of contemporary artists as well as the artwork of students and faculty involved in the education program.
With nearly 20 music, drama, dance and theatre groups in Bozeman, you may have the chance to see a performance while visiting the community. If not, the community is also rich in over 25 different athletic events from the beginner to the professional as well as events for those who like to participate just for fun.
If you interested in spending a great day outside, Bozeman can offer over 16 parks with some including trails for hiking, playground area, picnicking and swimming. Take your time and enjoy visiting as many of the local area parks and recreation areas.
Bozeman offers historical walking tours of the community also. Starting at the Pioneer Museum at 317 W. This tour offers visitors information on the early residents and some of the more prominent community members of Bozeman.
