Seeing Carlsbad by Charter Bus

Make your way throughout the beautiful area of Carlsbad with a little bit of help from a comfortable and convenient charter bus. Imagine just how great your day adventure will be when you are riding along on a charter bus that can hold a group of 22 people. This is pretty much the perfect way to get around without having to worry about any of the driving yourself. As an added bonus, all you have to do is sit and relax while enjoying the Carlsbad scenery and great conversation with all of your fellow charter bus passengers.

One of the coolest places to go when you are in this area is called the Living Desert Zoo & Gardens State Park., located at 1504 Miehls Drive. Here, you will find over 40 amazing species of animals that you can explore and learn about. Along with the animals, you will also have the chance to see all sorts of different plants, including lots of succulents and more. There is also an incredible aviary on the premises where visitors find great joy in viewing the many birds that live there, including turkeys, eagles, hawks and more. During the summer months, the gate hours are from 8:00AM until 8:00PM with the last entry being at 6:30PM, while during the winter months the gate hours are from 9:00AM until 5:00PM with the last entry being at 3:30PM. The only day of the year that the zoo is closed is Christmas day.

For a little bit of culture, you really need to have the charter bus bring you and your friends along to the Carlsbad Museum & Art Center, located on 418 West Fox Street. This is a wonderful place where you can go to view and explore all sorts of amazing exhibits. There is even a great museum shop on the premises where you can buy items such as books, jewelry and much more. The hours that you and your charter bus pals can plan on visiting the Carlsbad Museum & Art Center are from 10:00AM until 6:00PM Monday through Saturday during the summer months and 10:00AM until 5:00PM Monday through Saturday during the winter months. For the convenience of all patrons, admission to the museum is always free.

Another of the more famous attractions that you can visit in Carlsbad is definitely the Pecos River Flume. You and your charter bus pals can find this interesting stop on Westridge Drive right off of Callaway Drive. This is an interesting aqueduct that is used to carry water from Lake Avalon across the Pecos River. Years and years ago, this flume was built from wood, but was replaced back in the early 1900s by a concrete structure. You and your charter bus group should find this and many of the other Carlsbad stops to be very interesting.
