Tip #1: Boring Website?
Add exciting colors, fresh it up, add shorter content paragraphs, professional graphics, banners and ads. Don't over do it, though.
Usually users visiting your home business website will develop an immediate sense of interest within 10-15 seconds. If they find your site boring they will leave in 15 seconds or less. A lot of long boring text, terrible graphics, amateurish layout and design will most likely drive them by the blink of an eye.
One of the best ways to create higher revenue is by adding lots of action oriented text as this will 'help' them taking action by (hopefully) ordering or doing what you are asking them to do.
So make sure you create a site that will catch the readers attention within 5-15 seconds, maximum!
Tip #2: Benefits!
If Your Website Is a sales page and not a full website - Make sure you show only the features that will benefit the customer.
Do not try to convince the potentional customer about how great your product is. They couldn't care less. People are selfish and they couldn't care less about your product. The only thing care about is how your product can benefit them!
Tip# 3: Remove those ads!
Get all those flashing ads off your website. Visitors are usually completely turned off by websites which are full of advertisements. Try to make your advertising blend more into the websites content.
Tip #4: Offer Free Content!
People search the internet looking for information. Lots of free quality content on your site will not only increase page rank but also customer experience. Content is king!
Tip #5: Are your links working?
Check Your Website Links Over and Over again on a regular basis!
You will from time to time have occasionally bad links on your website. Do your best not to.
Non working links will make you lose revenue as well as credibility. No matter how careful you are, it will happen. So just save yourself those lost sales and irritated visitors. Check all the links on your websites on a daily basis.
Tip #6: Increase revenue by removing those AdSense ads!
Yeah, you heard me right! You can generate more revenue by replacing Google Ads with Affiliate Program links.
Affiliate sales pay you a lot more money that ad sense 'cents'. You will be pleasantly surprised when your first new revenue checks start coming in after you switch from Adsense to affiliate links!
